I'm lucky enough to have a barn I can park in. I stop with the front AC under the door frame, and measure from the door frame to the AC, then from the frame to the ground and subtract. If you can find something you can stop under and do the measurements, that's the most accurate way to measure. Mine is 12' 10-1/4".
