Visit as many dealers and RV shows as you can and spend some time in as many different floor plans as you can. Then get the one that most appeals to you.
And as stated, longer length is great for full time, but can be a problem in some COE/local/state/national parks.
I tow a 5er for two reasons.
1. lots of head room in living area, and for me at last 6' in the bedroom are.
2. Much nicer to tow.
With the front living more weight in the upper area equals more shake in the 5er.
Your going to need strong arms, and a tripod to keep under control.
