I did something like Chris's, but made a box that slid out from inside the compartment. When the box slides out on drawer slides, the bottom of the box swings down and the tv is mounted on the swingdown piece. The box only has to be about 5" deep. That way when you swing the tv back up inside the box it lays flat paralelle to the ceiling of the compartment inside a box and can't get dinged. Plus the box gives it some protection when slid out from rain or sun. There is a 32" TV on it but it can be as big as your compartment will allow. Put a HDMI switch and DVD player in there too and you are all set to watch dvd or sat. or cable tv.
