"Eide boat loader" Not cheap and you have to make rack go further up front due to 5th wheel. Trailer RV's are easier. Mine was manual and liked it. Guy at work saw what I had and he went first class, he got elec one. He had some elec problems with elec. Water and elec just don't do well together IMO. My thinking was less to go wrong with manual model. Of course if you have big outboard they get heavy quick. And everything in the boat has to be below the gunnels. So it is a hassle as most everything has to come out of boat because boat does a endo as it picks it up and then flops down on rollers and rolls forward into place. Their wheels are junk if you use boat in salt water IMO. Plastic and not enough width for soft sand. Went to wheel barrow wheels and brackets made on stainless steel, worked good. The motor carrier is nothing more than couple pieces of metal you can rig up in garage in couple hours.
OK just my 2 cents worth. There are probably lots of good carrying devices out there.
Just read your post again. What is nice is being able to drop RV at campground and wife does her thing and I go fishing. Being able to drive around with boat and no RV opens a lot of area.

I looked into those years back myself. also liked the outboard motor mount that let you put the motor on the bracket, then slide and lock it in the truck bed. mount wheels on the transom and put their ball hitch thingy on the bow and move the boat around.
