Then farther south, you go up a steep grade out of the river valley. I would guess as others have said, it is maybe 1/2 - 1 mile of steep. Just downshift and go slowly.
Now that I got rid of my lemon Silverado 2006, I don't worry about hills or heat. For 1 1/2 years this diesel model overheated and Chevy could never figure it out. Diesel forum had 1700 posts on the topic!!!
