I almost lost my gas tank! (Lippert fail / pic heavy)

So, we really don't use the fiver much now days, starting when the kids got in high-school. (2008 Sierra fifth-wheel toy hauler that doesn't really haul toys.) We take it out a couple times a year... ...

Hopefully Lippert will agree to fix it. It's alarming that this company can have such poor welding/frames for a significant portion of the 2000 decade. I guess I could see bad/improper welds for a certain short period of time but year after year for 5 or more years is just unbelievable. Quite obviously there was no QC or inspections done on what went out the door at Lippert.
