All it takes is a vote with the pocket book and the RVing public refuse to buy anything with a Lippert frame. I know they supply the majority of the frames for RV trailers, but if people stop buying them from any manufacturer, the pressure from the manufacturers could be the force needed.

First, people want to go RV'ing, they don't want to wait for the 3-5 years, at least, that it would take the industry to turn around. Even if people cut way back it might take longer than 3-5 years for it to happen. Look how long it took the US carmakers to introduce decent cars to keep up with the cars the Japanese were making.
