Then maybe we need a couple of Japanese manufacturers come in with RVs for the US market.
I'd buy a Japanese RV in a heartbeat! I maintain our family fleet (9 vehicles, no joke!) and the easiest and cheapest to work on are my wife's 07 Honda or my daughter's 81 Plymouth Champ. The Honda is never repair, just regular maint items. I even outsourced the timing belt job for five bills parts and labor. Now don't get me started on the maint schedule for our three German vehicles (two motorcycles and one coupe.)
Nothing against American vehicles, it's just that what is truly American any more. My Dodge Ram was put together in Saltillo, Mexico. On the other hand, our Honda was put together in Alabama. Only truly American vehicle we have is my son's 69 Chevy C-20. And don't think I haven't been tempted to put a fifth wheel hitch in that puppy to see how that 350 and TH400 would pull, haha.
