I just went through all this myself to make sure I'm keeping within all applicable load limits.
1 - make sure your GVWR & GAWR are from the tag on the truck. You will find this inside the drivers door jamb. This way you start with the correct numbers (I found a couple VIN data sites that gave different weight ratings than my mfr tag)
2 - your max trailer load sounds about right because if you add the weight of your truck you will be over the GCWR.
3 - the only way to get actual weights is to go to CAT scales and weight truck only, then weigh truck and trailer. The CAT scale will weigh each axle independently
4 - don't forget to check the weight rating of your truck tires to make sure they will handle ALL the weight of the truck & trailer
