I'm kinda in the same boat only I've already taken possession.
My salvation is, right now I have full use of my brothers '99 7.3 F250. I'm within specs but kinda maxed out if you know what I mean.
I'm in the market for a newer F-350 for myself to give me some wiggle room (peace of mind).
BTW - as long as your within all your weight ratings, you should be fine as long as you don't drive like a yahoo, lol
