The only time we close the main door is when we go to sleep. Keeps the warm air in for winter and the cool air in in the summer. Total cost $30. Mount the Lexan by Velcro double faced tape or mirror hangers. Cut the Lexan with a razor knife. I used a round coffee container lid to get the radius for the top of the door. About an hours time.
