I have a friend in SE Colorado. He parked his RV by a barn that had RV hookups. He had bought the 40 acres. The barn was very nice, except needed concrete floor and etc. They were given so many months to live in the RV. They left and went to south Texas during the winter, and returned last April. They had already started redoing the barn into a house. I think they had about a year to stay in RV while building the house. Don't know if this is Colorado rule or the local county. Anyway they would like to prevent junking looking places. However; anyplace I go in Colorado I see junk and junkie houses. But that is everywhere. I would really do some checking with the county you are wanting to settle in and see if you can really do this.
