There are not many crackheads who are enterprising enough to take the trouble to try to pawn a fifth wheel hitch that there is not wide demand for. They prefer smash-and-grab stuff like electronics (such as the GPS you forgot to remove from your dashboard while you ducked into Walmart). Professional thieves will cut through your lock and take the hitch anyway--if they really wanted it.
