IF the trailers a rockin?

Noticed a design flaw in my installation. The tube had no way to rotate when the leg goes up. Solved this by using two stop nuts and two washers.

I'm not familiar with the 6 point system. I'm assuming it is hydraulic. I know the JT Strongarms have kits for sale that attach to hydraulic landing gear feet. There is a Youtube video that explains the system.

The op stated he has a 6 point leveling system... Would your set up work with those?

I just bought and installed the BAL Lockarm which is on sale at PPL here in Houston. The BAL units have an L bracket which is used to attach to the landing gear near the bottom. I was able to use the front two Lockarms and the L brackets. However on the side units there is no holes in the landing gear front or back. I did not want to drill more holes. The L brackets are held in place with steel rivets. I drilled out the rivets and was able to bolt the side units to the same 3/8 inch bolt that the front units are attached to. See if this picture makes any sense. I have not camped yet but trying to move the trailer from side to side is now rock solid.

I cannot imagine any fifth could be any more solid than ours is. JT's plus the scissor jacks in front of the ft tires . Same as the earlier post.

With our 4 point Big Foot Leveling system, which did provide some stability, we decided to keep our stabilizers on the front and back to keep interior & wind movement at bay.
Two friends of ours have the 6 point BF system and one couple is perfectly happy with just the BF while the other couple said they are glad they kept their stabilizers.
I think some of it depends on how much movement bothers you, the lenght of your rig & whether you travel on occasion, several months a year or are fulltimers. As a fulltimer, I want my 38'Carriage as stable as possible. Hugs, Di

Actually, my previous unit electric landing gear with JT Stabilzers and Rotochoks was rock solid. This 6-pt leveling is nice and convenient, but can't compare to the old setup as far as stability.

(Aside from the Lippert expansion popping that makes you think you are about to drop), the rear jacks are right behind the wheels, and leave the remaining rear frame unsuspported. If the OP would really like to knock that wobble down a bit, he can scissor jack the rear frame.

That's exactly what I did.. JT's and scissor jacks at mid point of the frame

I didn't fall off a turnip truck here - I've had front and back JT Strongarms on our previous unit, and I have 6 pt leveling now. The TWO DON'T MIX!
