Carriage use the same frame for the Cameo, Carrilite. When I look at the brochures I don't see the difference except the running gear (axles, tires) useing this thinking I should be able to take my 34ck3 with 14,999# rating which it has 7k axles and 80psi/ 8ply tire and upgrade the tire to 14 or 16 ply 110psi with 4k carring capacity each and by able to have the trailer at 15,500# with no problem. I'm using my rig as an example becuase I have the scale tickets recently and know what all the weights are showing.
If the OP has upgraded his Cameo's running gear it's no different than having a carrilites rating without the sticker on the side of the rig. He could be legal just by registering the trailer for more weight at the dmv.
