I thought we needed a pin box repair on the 5er when we were in Nashville for the eclipse. Best I could get was "maybe next month" with zero help from the Cramping world and other RV dealer adjacent to our park. No mobile service would come in to look (anytime soon). DW & I disassembled the front of the 5er ourselves and did the inspection and decided that wasn't the problem.
Chev dealer (Sierra) was very nice and actually repaired our check engine issue under warranty and got the truck back to use the same day we took it in.
We had lots of blown tires, broken springs, other suspension parts, brakes with our old 5er. Always found somebody to fix us up. Very different experience from this time (which is the first time in 6 years we thought we had a serious problem with our Voltage 3950)
