Had a few issues. Bearings once at a provincial park where the maintenance guy helped clean up the spindle, put new bearings in to get me home. Do my own bearings now.
Tire blow out once. Put the spare on and then found another tire had broken belts when we go the CG.
Nails in tires both truck and trailer.
Hurt my back last year and took the trailer to get the bearings done and guess what? Bearings/seized brakes took out the axle again. AAA membership came in handy to flatbed the trailer to a shop. 8 weeks later back to Myrtle Beach to pick up the trailer.
Converter went out just before Cape Cod trip so had time to replace it.
Broken slide out bolt caused the slide out not to go out straight. Used adjustable wrench to bring it in. Now carry spare bolts.
I carry all sorts of tools, have AAA/CAA RV Premium for truck and trailer. Came in handy last year in Myrtle Beach with the bearing/seized brake.
Not just RVing though. Had a 2003 Windstar that snapped a spring coming home from Florida on a Friday. Had to get towed to the dealership and couldn't get parts till Monday so stayed for an extra weekend.
