Did it come with the camera itself, or it just pre-wired? Some come pre-wire and have the mount, but no camera.
I have a 2018 GD Reflection and they only come with a camera mount. Take closer look and is just a plate held on with 4 screws. When you take the cover there well be a cable behind it to plug into the camera.
Mine works when I turn on my park lights. I have no problem as it doesn't bother any problem with this amount of light on the rear just help light for the camera when backing.
