Coax already has 12V DC on it...adding 120V AC not so good
Unless OP disconnects 12V DC supply OR has a non-amplified antenna
Course it could just be an issue with proper 'aiming' of antenna head, turning on existing amplifier etc
OP wasn't clear on what antenna he has
As usual, I agree with Old-Biscuit. More info is needed to know just what OP has, or is asking. Years ago, I had a Challenger FW, with a crank up Bat Wing TYPE antenna. The ends were more bow tie shaped, and was non-amplified. I did, in this case, successfully use a 120V booster/amplifier to receive much improved OTA reception.
