Interesting - New Excel with Door in the Slide

Just another dumb a$$ed floorplan from Excel. They make great trailers but their floorplans suck.

Sure is some interesting things about the layout, but at most of the campgrounds I have been at where those steps would come out it would not be a very desirable place.

excel has had enough problems with their slides leaking and causing floor problems to not give me a good feeling I would buy this model because of the extra stress walking in and out plus a extra heavy person coming to visit adding stress on the slide. I might be wrong .

first time I have heard that comment in 7 years of fulltiming...sounds rather odd, when there is plenty of weight on slide floors in the retracted position.
Any idea where that suggestion originated ?

The floor plan has some cool things, but looks to me the slide has to be moved to get to the bedroom for loading. We would not want the double sink in the front bath and would rather have the space for linens and use the linen closet in the bedroom for something else.

What's the purpose? If the door was in the usual spot, to the right of the mainslide, you could access the half bath with no issues....I don't see the point, other than to be different.

This is NOT a 28 foot trailer. According to the video, it is a 37 foot trailer. Nice work and great design but I would wait awhile and see how the slideout door works and problems that might develop.

Might be nice,except in a narrow site then your steps are into the neighbors lot.

Looks somewhat like the new Bighorn model we toured last month in Elkhart, with the bath & half.

Nice floorplan, but you loose some kitchen storage and living space to get that half bath.

Raised in a house that had a bath next to kitchen. Too many undesirable noises came from it while at the table. No thanks!
