Lets look at this another way. I am a hunter. I suppose the gun salesman could tell me if I buy his gun I could shoot whatever I want whenever I want. It is still my job to KNOW the hunting laws, areas and seasons is it not?
A salesman should have an ethical obligation.
If you pull up with a Malibu with a hitch on it, a salesman shouldn't tell you that you can tow a 30' trailer just cause you have a hitch.
