Is a long bed a requirement for pulling a 5th wheel?

Looks like we're going to switch to a 5th wheel so I need to buy a truck. Do I need a long (8') bed or will a short (6'4") bed be sufficient. Im not worried about other cargo and the short bed would b...

We have dealt with La Mesa RV in Phoenix twice and feel pretty good with what we have. The service department in Mesa is better than the 75th Ave. Depends on what brand FW you want if new, or if used you would probably be better off buying from an individual. Three are many free RV shows in Phoenix that let you talk with many dealers and get some great deals
