- MFLNomad IIThat is just the right truck, to tow that beautiful home on wheels! That complete rig, has to be one of the nicest I've seen pictured on the forum.
Glad you are enjoying it.

Depending on the trailer size of course would make a difference but a short box is not an option for my thinking. The look of a truck is minor.

Now that is a nice angle on that Ram dually, with long bed! It is so clean, it almost looks new! Ya, it is new, not even a ding in the hip yet.:W
It is not as nice looking as a Super Duty, but it's pretty hard to beat that Cummins engine.:)

Everyone has their own opinion. what else are you going to say you own one.
There is nothing great looking about a dually , granted they are not as ugly as past years, but still butt ugly. - Cummins12V98Explorer III

You ever wonder why there are so many kinds of heavy duty trucks out there? Day cabs, sleepers, single axle or dual? It's because different needs require different tools. You just have to pick the truck that's right for you. There's no one size fits all regardless of what you may read here.
There it is short and sweet. I don't know why I usually read all the long bed, dually, diesel type threads. My needs are taken care of by a short bed crew cab gasser. They all work, it just is what your requirements are.
Times 2 . Is a long-bed a requirement? NO. The requirements are what you need it to do, capacities, and safety.
