Is half-ton truck big enough for a lite weight fifth wheel?

The difference between a 1/2 ton and 3/4 ton is the 1/2 ton will be at it's RAWR when it hits its GVW. When a 3/4 ton hits it's GVW it still has over 1000lbs left on its RAWR

I wouldn't bet the farm on that.... Do your homework and you'll find different with the newer F-150 compared to a host of 3/4 ton trucks.

Just because it is labeled 3/4 ton, doesn't make it better for towing or hauling especially in the older rigs.
