Is it possible to re-mount the tv batwing antenna

So as to move the dead spot to a different location? I'm talking about the small portion of the arc where it isn't possible to point the antenna. When I park the rig at my house the dead spot is preci...

Looks like you have to unscrew a bunch of screws into the roof, rotate, reseal and rescrew.. it looks like the mount is not round, but pear shaped, so there may be exposed screw holes when u turn it.
I think the inside base (with the pointer) is aligned with the flange of the top piece.
