I agree, many that make some of those statements have never tow a 5er, or if they did likely had a very poor setup and/or expected the TV to ride like a Cadillac.
Like many of have stated, if it seemed to tow and ride well, get it weighed, this weekend would be great, and report back. The most important part is to be sure you have enough tire under the rear axle.
