Is this a good deal

ok we r wanting to trade our 2015 Reflection 337RLS for a new 2017 27RL. They r only willing to give us an 11,000 difference between the 2 units. Is this the norm? We really don't know cause we have never done a deal with a unit that we still owe on. Any opinions r appreciated. Thanks Tara oh and this unit is a little over 5 ft shorter than ours.
  • Your trade is at wholesale and the new one is probably at MSRP. Not good.
  • Unless your current camper is defective in some way, keep it. It's not a good deal. If you can't sell it for at least what you own on your loan, you need to hang on longer. It takes about 8 years to get the loan down and resale high enough. And then you are stretching it.
  • No, it is not a good deal. You will be loosing any equity you have period.
  • You are a Dealers DELIGHT

Your RV has depreciated yet is fairly new......dealer trade in LOW RETAIL

    Dealers NEW Unit.....HIGH RETAIL

Dealer makes money on BOTH units
  • you will always be better off trying to sell the unit outright.
