Dont mind a group next to us, but after the last 4 nights having to listen to thier large contractor grade genny running from 5pm to 7am, well Diana and i had enough.
It was 60' from our hauler. I never run our genny all night long, those suitcase gennys are quiet, big ones on wheels are not.
Had that happen to me before, walked over and asked what's up? Guy said batteries are shot, cheaper for me to run genny then buy new batts. All about me generation I guess?
Yup. Had that this weekend as well. Maybe 30 feet from one of the rigs in our circle. They had bad batteries, so they ran the open frame contractor genny, that they moved closer to us than themselves, all night long.
I never expected to be alone. But, there were other options. Plenty of open space on the dry lake bed. I think it is when they arrive after dark. Just grab the first spot of land they can find.
I don't get it myself. But, I don't see that there is anything to do about it other than try and get the message out.
