Yes Sumner RV is like 10 miles from the house, we didn't' get a chance to look yesterday as they were closed. But knowing that they are a family affair and now that I think about it super close for any warrantee work I really should take another look.
Up until yesterday the wife wanted 30-32 feet now she is game for 35.. that opens up a lot of options in the 3 lines. She is basically done shopping.. and just wants a new tent.
Sumner typically orders all Arctic Fox and Fox Mountain rigs with thermopane (Northwoods lists it as a "option" but the production manager tells me the 90% are built with thermopane.)
Does not appear that Sumner has any 32 or 35 ft (models) in-stock. Sean (the sales&web-guy) is usually good about keeping the web-site up todate.
Be aware these are long. The 27-5L is actually 31 ft, the 29-5T is actually 32 ft, etc.
They are also really heavy. We have a 1-ton dually and the pin weight is in-side the parameters, barely, loaded to the gills. The hitch weight runs about 3000 lbs, the loaded for your length is around 16000 lbs
We have boon-docked in a farmers field (we NEED the extra clearance a Fox has) for 6 days, with no issues. Still had water, didn't need to run the generators. We carry two Honda 2000s. Leaves more room in the Gen-Bay.
Some mistakes we made on our custom order, we assumed the Power-Vent was thermostatic, like on our 99 24-5N, it wasn't. We didn't know about the "direct response" model of the power awning (it can auto-retract in wind).
