Jayco Designer refrigerator problem

I have a 2009 Jayco Designer with a Norcold N1095 refrigerator. I recently had knee surgery and had left the trailer plugged into 120 volts. Today I went to check on the trailer and the refrigerator was warm. It was flashing codes LI and oP. Does anyone know what these codes mean? I cannot find them in my operators or installation manual. Any suggestions?

  • 'LI' 'oP' fault-----------The High Temp Limit Switch is OPEN.
Cuts power to fridge when activated. IIRC 300*F ?
Check for ammonia smell, yellow powdery residue from a crack tube.

    If so.....cooling unit is BAD.

    IF just a fault switch/////
Switch is on burner stack......thermal disc. Plugs into control board.
    Part # 2M0802..........LINK
  • there is a black box on the back of the fridge you will see a red led light get a strong manic run across it this resetsvit.if that does not reset you can unplug and bypass but replace as soon as posible
  • I did a search. A few ;) people have talked about this.

They are talking about the "High Temperature Limit" switch. The previous discussions should help more than I can.

    Good luck!
