Jayco eagle HT 27.5 RLTS

I would buy the unit over again.

Thanks for chiming in; hadn't heard the final fix for your leak issue. I think that in '16 they changed to all LEDs throughout. One thing that is just a total numbskull job was that they placed the external speakers on the =slide= instead of under the awning. Don't know about you, but I'm not sitting in the sun to listen to my music, but under the awning. The '16-17's now have the speakers under the awning, where it should have been in the first place. Sorta like the idiot at GM that decided that us drivers aren't smart enough to properly use an OD cutoff, or otherwise manually select 4th, on our 5-speed Allison transmissions...

Gotta ask; did you ever see the underside of your rig with the coroplast removed, while it was being worked on? Would love to know how much room there is around the black tank for a possible replacement. Jayco is =very= reticent about sharing schematics and I have yet to find a dealer service dept. that will.

This model is on my short list for the next FW. One person here, zackyboy3rs, did have a pretty serious issue on his '15 (IIRC) 27.5RLTS with a water leak that took some digging to find. Last I knew, he had it fixed, but the long-term water damage issues are yet to be determined. My one real issue is the anemic-sized black tank, at only 32.5 gallons; 13 less than my old Komfort that we like to boondock in. We just got back from a family campout (36 attending this year), and the black tank was near-full. No way we would have survived with the Jayco. If I can find a schematic of the plumbing, I'd spend the $ and put a larger black tank in...once it was out of warranty.

That's my problem. When we go, our adult kids will tent, but the wimmin-folk aren't fans of pooping in the woods. :-) Then, you have some of the young kids who think nothing of just wandering in and using the head when you're not looking. Brats, even though we love 'em. :-)

In my ideal world, Jayco and KZ would get together and meld the Eagle HT 27.5RLTS and the Durango 1500 D284RLT. :-)

I know our 26.5 RLS has a 32.5 gallon black tank, but it has two 32.5 gallon grey water tanks. We have never come close to filling up our black tank even though we spend a week at a time camping without hookups. I guess if you were entertaining a bunch of people for a period of time, 32.5 might be a bit small, but for two people, I would think it would be fine, as it is for us.

We looked at it long and hard. The dealer had a '16 he wanted to blow out for cheap. The holding tank sizes were the deal killer. They market that trailer to the half ton folks here.

We have an 321 RLTS Jayco Eagle, Jayco is one of the few with 2 year warranty, , we love it.

Just bought a 2015 27.5 RLTS last Friday and love it so far !

WE ORDERED IN A 2016 JAYCO EAGLE HT 27.5 RLTS AND PICKED IT UP IN APRIL. WE HAVE CAMPED IN IT 30 NIGHTS SO FAR. THIS IS A NICE 5VER FOR TWO PEOPLE. SO FAR WE ARE PLEASED WITH IT. HAVING TWO TT BEFORE THIS THE 5VER TOWS SO MUCH NICER. I DID THE MAXXIS TIRE/WHEEL UPGRADE AS MY TRUCK STANDS TALL. I ALSO USE THE REVOLUTION HITCH WITH MY SHORT BED TRUCK. THE ELECTRIC FIREPLACE IS ALSO A NICE OPTION AND WORKS WELL. THE SWIVAL/RECLINER CHAIRS ARE VERY COMFORTABLE, BUT SOMEWHAT OF A PAIN TO POSITION TO BRING THE SLIDES IN. I'VE HAD SOME MINOR WARRANTY WORK DONE WHICH I'VE HAD TO DO WITH EVERY BRAND I'VE OWNED OVER THE YEARS. IT ALSO COMES WITH A RECEIVOR HITCH SO ITS GREAT TO PULL MY BOAT BEHIND. SO FAR, SO GOOD, TIME WILL TELL, BUT I THINK WE'LL BE PLEASED WITH THIS UNIT.
