when we turn on our AC it takes about four to five hours for it to cool down. Once it cools its cold. Is this normal for it to take so long or do I need to have the AC repaired. Memphis, TN

I would say something isn't right there unless you're in very hot weather. A couple of years ago we traveled all day in low 100 degree temps. Took our unit a while, but it was noticeably cooler within a couple of hours, iirc.
