when we turn on our AC it takes about four to five hours for it to cool down. Once it cools its cold. Is this normal for it to take so long or do I need to have the AC repaired. Memphis, TN

If it eventually cools down and stays cool, it sounds like you have only one unit and as others have said, really need two. We have two in our 35' Jayco and it takes an hour or so before it cools off enough to be comfortable in 90+ weather.
