when we turn on our AC it takes about four to five hours for it to cool down. Once it cools its cold. Is this normal for it to take so long or do I need to have the AC repaired. Memphis, TN

Our eight year old Coleman a/c started taking a long time to cool last year. Then it started icing up with the compressor running non-stop. By the end of the year we had to replace it. $1100 later and we're back to cooling off pretty quickly.
