Jayco(Australia) building its truly 1/2 ton towable model

Why is it the Aussie floorplans seems to pack much more storage capacity in the interiors of their caravans? I know some don't get too jazzed about Euro look RV's, but that's is not a bad looking interior and quite functional looking to boot. Seems like they are more interested in utility and ease of maintenance than glitz and wow down under.
