It ain't quite that simple, Robert...as you must know given the really huge differences in design between North American 1/2 tons and those in Australia.

The mfr's aren't blowin' smoke about N.A. 1/2 tons' lack of capacity- fact is, that class of "truck" has long since been relegated to grocery-getter rather than work truck here.
