tarnished the reputation of ALL 5vers in Australia, although there are some well built local 5vers. The Jayco 5vers are not poor quality but the US 5vers imported here( I have seen some being repaired not a pretty sight) were terrible.
I would say if they start selling in quantity, the market for Australian built 5vers will go to about $60,000. US 5vers will die off totally. There are only about 250 5vers (US/Australian)all up a tiny tiny fraction of Caravan numbers. There was much greater interest 4 yrs ago, but the growth of upmarket and Off Road Caravans has killed that.
