So how is it possible that they can find Australian customers that are willing to pay $80,000.00 for such "poor quality RV's"?

How much would a value-oriented Australian buyer expect to pay for a GOOD quality trailer/fiver?
Francesca US 5vers tarnished the reputation of ALL 5vers in Australia, although there are some well built local 5vers. The Jayco 5vers are not poor quality but the US 5vers imported here( I have seen some being repaired not a pretty sight) were terrible.
I would say if they start selling in quantity, the market for Australian built 5vers will go to about $60,000. US 5vers will die off totally. There are only about 250 5vers (US/Australian)all up a tiny tiny fraction of Caravan numbers. There was much greater interest 4 yrs ago, but the growth of upmarket and Off Road Caravans has killed that.
