This is what Jayco wants to get away from, like GM does not like being reminded about the Olds Diesel.

When we were in Albany WA a few years ago, one of those 5th wheelers limped in. Rear chassis/suspension failure. The owners were quite distraught. It was a brand new unit and they had just started their big trip around Australia from Perth. That's as far as they got - 417 kilometres. Also the slide out was jammed and leaking water. Their trip was over.
I lived in Townsville for 37 years and knew a very good chassis builder and welder. I do not know if he is still in operation. I will find out and get back to you.
