Just started full timing a few months ago & Im tired of the sway & wobble.We used our last TT so infrequently it wasnt worth it, but now with 2 adults, 2 kids, 2 big dogs & 2 small dogs we almost need dramamine.I thought I bought a 5'er not a boat.I see theres 3 different kits you can buy (191025, 191024 & 191023), also I have square landing gear in the front & round hydraulic in the rear.Which kit do I need? And What accessories do I need to make it work with my setup?Nothing worse than waiting for something to be delivered, only to find out you need to order more parts, or worse yet spend extra time & money at Ace Hardware tring to figure out how to improvise a fix.Thanks Lee

Well the JT Strongarms we ordered came with all required hardware. With one possible exception. If you have to mount one of the arms to thin sheet metal under your RV you may need some metal backer plates to stiffen the mount and spread the load. so it does not deform your sheet metal. Whatever you use I would epoxy it to the inside of the RV basement floor.

I would call them and ask. I would trust their recommendation on the correct part number more than someone on here. We have them on an older (non hydraulic) 5er and wouldn’t be without them.

Not sure about 3 but I know there are two versions for 5th wheels. It depends on how far apart your landing gear is. One is for wider applications and the other for narrower applications. Other than that, those two are identical. If your rear stabilizers are hydraulic, I suspect you have the large round pads. If so, you need and accesory that either is welded to or bolted on to the pad for the arm to attach. Hope this helps

We had JT Strongarms on our previous rig. We have SteadyFast on our current rig. They are about the same in terms of their results IMO. SteadyFast was easier to install and is easier to use, so they’d get my vote.

The only way to stop all motion is get the wheels off the ground and put solid blocks under the frame about every 4 to 6 feet.

Braces such as JT's Strongarms will help, as will X-Chocks between the wheels on both sides.

One thing we have found is the heavier the trailer, the less rocking. Also, put solid blocks under the jacks and stabilizers and extend them as little as possible.
