  • Was wondering where the best place is to buy them, and how hard they are to install them. We asked at two different dealers and neither said they install them. Didn't even seem to be familiar with them. Not sure we can do it ourselves. Also, wondering if anyone didn't think they worked to make it solid. The xchocks recommended and the tri pod don't seem to be the answer. Would love to be sure they work before purchasing, since they are not cheap. Glad to hear you thought they worked.
  • We don't have that brand but we love our aftermarket stabilizers. We have used them for over 6 years and would never have a 5th wheel without them. We are 17 year fulltimers and they are at the top of our list for things that make life easier and stable. Di

Installed mine 4 yrs ago. Very good investment.

  • Mine are now on their third camper, keep moving them. Our current one is a voltage 3950 with the 6 point system, they make a nice difference.
  • Made my own for our last TT and our new 5'er. Very solid. I found adding one to the rear is the what makes it solid. The fronts take 80% out and the rears take the rest out.
  • Well, all I can say is I have the 6 point leveling system on my 5th wheel and the JT's. When you have those six arms down and the weight off of the axles, there is movement due to pistons being extended out of the hydraulic body. Tighten the Strong Arm triangle mounting and now you have a ridged frame that is almost impossible to move.
  • Got a set for Christmas 2012 for our new unit, but it came with 6 point level up system and dealer tells me I don't need the JTs. I have read that they work really well, but mine are new and still sitting in the factory box. What to do?

  • Great. I started with a pin stabilizer in '84/and adjustable chocks and always I take those useless scissor jacks off the back of the trailer and install BAL telescoping stabilizers.
Next trailer will have the JTs
