We have a 3/4 ton diesel truck and a Fifth Wheel that weighs about 13,000 and the truck handles it great. We like the Fifth Wheel over a Motor Home because of the cost (maintenance, insurance, etc.) and because when we get wherever we have a comfy vehicle to drive around and do and see whatever. We are both ate up with arthritis and a small vehicle doesn't work for us.
