2003 was the last year for the 7.3 liter diesel. Those trucks are still worth quite a bit.
2003 was the first year for the 6.0 liter, I had one.
The biggest problem will be, the insurance won't give you enough for it to do anything with.
The first half of the 2003 model year was 7.3L (built prior to 12/31/02). The second half was 6.0Ls (post 1/1/03).
They are so easy to steal it makes me sick. My '02 makes me nervous any time I end up leaving it outside because I have a project going on in the garage that takes up too much space. I try hard not to leave it out at all fearing I'll wake up to this someday.
I hope they find it not too banged up!
