Not FT but what I call extended traveler here. Each trip is a minimum of 2 months.
First priority is as much amperage battery bank as possible. We have a single 4D AGM battery. About 220AH.
Next is a genny to charge it. The Honda 2000 works just fine for this.
Power use management is done with an inverter/charger, just like boats. No converter.
Battery charging is done when there is the most demand for power such as mealtimes, breakfast & dinner. The inverter takes care of light late night loads such as the TV. The fridge stays on propane when drycamping & the water heater is only turned on maybe 1/2 hour before needing it for showers. No point is leaving it on 24hrs when dry camping.
