Now that I'm out of racing and spending more time that the family can enjoy together, we decided to go to Dick's Sporting Goods last night and buy three kayaks. We are totally new to kayaks. We bought three 10' sit-in kayaks that had a lot of really good reviews. The common review was how good they were for beginners. I have a garage on the Vengeance that's 12' on the left side and almost 11' on the right side. Is there any great way to haul these things back there without causing any problems? I see two potential problems I'd like to figure out.1. I don't want them moving all around. I can wedge them in and strap them in but is there a rack I could put in there or something similar?2. When the golf cart is back there, the garage is tight on space. I'd love to know of a great way to haul the kayaks and still take the golf cart if we want to do so.I know this may just be a "wait and see" thing and I'll adapt as we learn how things fit. But i was just wondering if someone else has any similar issues and how they took care of them.

Which ones did you buy. I have looked but can't decide on one over another. I have been looking at the same place as where you purchased yours!

I'd recommend a rack, built of PVC or aluminum. You will most likely have to build one (or have it built). You might also consider a lumber rack, I have a couple that I have mounted in my garage at home. There are also lots of ideas out there for building your own using plywood and poly hose split to protect the kayak.You can also order this onefrom Dicks.Combined with a healthy number of tie downs and bungee cords you should be able to store them securely.

Yes. But these give me good ideas. Obviously, I have to load everything up and then start measuring and coming up with creative ideas.

Can't load on golf cart roof. The cart itself barely fits underneath the beds.

Nice. I think op is looking for ways to load them in his TH with a golf cart.

How about making or buying a roof rack to mount on the golf cart and load them on top. I transport 4 kayaks in my toy hauler and just lay them down. They are plastic and pretty durable from my experiences.I have one set up for saltwater fishing :) 2 doubles and another single my kids use. I have had about 15 kayaks at one point :) sold them off and down to 4.

I just went to Home Depot and got these hangers. screwed to stud and it works great. I have seen people hang them from ceiling also, but these work for me.
you could get a 1x4 and screw to that and then to wall.
