Keeping A FW From Being Stolen

(If I change those 751 locks - my compts are secure, yeah right!)

If thieves want (whatever it is) bad enough, they *will* get it.

Two suggestions:

1. Select your storage facility very carefully!

2. Depending on the amount of effort (and expense) you wish to put into theft deterrents - any or all of the suggestions.

You could always remove the wheels and put it on jacks (no joke).

Somebody once did me that favor -
*EXCEPT* - the thieves took two wheels & tires and left the TT on cinder blocks..:(
(BTW - the storage facility had "security"..:R.)

Check out War-Lok products. Their pin lock is sold at truck stops. I bought one for our 5er and am very impressed with it.

park your truck underneath it like i do , oh by the way i have another truck I drive.

Since my RV is insured for replacement cost and is a 2008, come and get it!

Park it in the most secure spot you can find. Buy good insurance. Put a lock on the kingpin to stop the less than professional thief. There are battery powered grinders that will take a cut off blade and can cut through ANY lock or cable in less than a minute, hardened or not, so don't depend on anything with a lock to keep it secure..

Could be a problem I guess for some.
Never really thought much about having a trailer stolen.
Broken into yes had that happen.

In a storage lot with cameras everywhere that actually get monitored we don't do anything other than keep things locked and out of site.
