Keeping a log

We started a hand written journal when we bought our first RV in 2006. We don't go into so much detail as to get bogged down; just where, when, with who, dates, and fun things. We had almost filled one book when we decided to go electronic mainly because my handwriting is getting almost illegible and I wanted to insert photos. I very much prefer the new way because I print out the finished product and put it in a three ring binder. The photos are great, but that is just our preference. I went back to the first trip and now have all the RV trips converted. I have now started backtracking on the pre-RV trips and plan to type up and insert old photos on every trip I can recall. I probably won't ever get through but it is worth it because it is so enjoyable remembering countless trips in the past. What fun we had, and are still having! I highly recommend journaling because when we loose a mate what a treasure it will be to have an accurate account of the fun times of the past.
