OP Asked:
What are the key features you really like about your fifth wheel?
I like the dual pane windows, the fireplace, when slides are in you can still access the bathroom, livingroom, bedroom and the kitchen to where you can still prepare a meal if need be( including the fridge) :). Pre-hook up's for washer/dryer, satellite and generator. Also like two A/C's
What is it about this non-traditional lifestyle and experience do you really like so much and no matter what, you'd remain a full-time RVer?
Not fulltimers yet, but that's the plan....like being able to travel to places we haven't been...Like to spend as much time as we want in one place, (our's is on a river in WV)...We love camping, sight seeing and the outdoors
What's the most painful (as in cost, time, effort, and or inconvenience) experience involving repair you ever had to deal with?
We purchased our 5er new in 07', no real issues, I replaced a front landing jack, other than that, I guess we've been fortunate.
Thanks in advance for reading and looking forward to your replies.
Some other things to think of as stated by others...it really helps to be able to access everything with all the slides in...
Also important to make sure you have "enough truck" to tow with and make sure you have good tires on the 5er....it can be VERY time consuming if one has a flat while towing, not including the damage it might do to one's 5er...just food for thought:)
