I don't know how someone could blame me for the veneer or the streaks for that matter. I have never put any chemicals on anything. The roof has only been cleaned with water and a brush. The veneer is paper thin. I brought one of the flaked off chips to lowes to match the color with stain. The flake was literally crumbling in my fingers. As far as the haters, this is my 3rd new camper and I previously owned a used diesel pusher. I am very handy and I have fixed most issues on every camper, including this one. I didn't notice the veneer that soon because it was on the bottom edge up near the ceiling in the rear of the camper. The only reason we noticed it was because we were removing everything out for winter storage. I know campers get streaks but they wash off. The streaks on the stripes don't clean off but the gel coat does.
As far as the heating pad, if you look at a 2016 Montana brochure it states "heated upper level floor". If they just explained it the way it is I would be good with that. I don't intend for them to rim up the floor because of a heating pad.
The two things I really wanted fixed was the stripes and the veneer. I know the ladder would turn not a mess as I don't want more holes drilled in my cap.
