Can't answer that because I wouldn't hire the cheapest contractor for my house. But, if I did, I'd expect work like that. I actually work in housing so your analogy hits home. High volume track home builders regularly turn out crappy work, people piss and moan.... and keep buying.
You want a quality home? Hire a custom builder. You want a quality RV? Buy a Redwood or Mobile Suites or some other high end line.
I just think people have unrealistic expectations. They want perfection at the lowest price point. It's just not going to happen. I completely understood what I was getting with a Keystone and have not been disappointed. Even doing very minimal research before buying one can find RVs at this price point are slapped together quickly and many/most have problems. Expecting anything more is just setting yourself up for frustration.
