What is the best way to protect the King Pin from kids knocking them selves out and or cutting there heads. I don't want to spend o bunch of money on a stabilizer so what other options, I've used nood...

I use a red "remove before flight" flag hanging from the pin.
Some times we have camped on a slope with the back of the trailer close to the ground and the pin head high.
